FUTURE SHADES IN MEDICINE YOUTH SUMMIT 2024

An event to inspire youth of color to pursue careers in medicine.

 Future Shades In Medicine Youth Summit Hosted by University Hospitals, with support from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and NEOMED

Join us for an exciting day designed to inspire youth of color to consider careers as doctors, nurses and other healthcare professions. Students in grades 3 - 12, parents/guardians, educators, healthcare professionals and community leaders are welcome to attend.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Participate in hands-on activities and simulated medical experiences with real medical equipment.
• Meet and learn from doctors, medical researchers, nurses and other health professionals, and college representatives.
• Access resources on medical career pathways and guidance for academic success.
• FREE parking and refreshments.

THERE IS NO COST TO ATTEND - REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Students under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian or adult chaperone. One parent/guardian/adult chaperone may accompany up to 10 students.

PARKING & ARRIVAL

• Parking: Free parking for youth summit attendees in Browns Purple Lot (look for UH Parking signs).
• Enter stadium at the University Hospitals Gate, located at the southeast corner of the stadium (corner of Alfred Lerner Way and Erieside).
